However, it looks like those troubles have been resolved, or at least resolved to the point where producers are confident enough to start rolling cameras....

The film was barely even a prospect and then, before we knew it, an all-star cast had been assembled and production was underway in New York withCate Blanchettrocking a series of incredible outfits. The film is directed byHunger GamesandPleasantvillefilmmakerGary Ross, who is a close friend ofSteven Soderbergh’s, director of the previousOcean’strilogy. Soderbergh serves as a producer onOcean’s 8so there’s certainly connective tissue behind the scenes, and now it sounds like there’ll be a connection between this new franchise and the previous oneonscreenas well....

TheHarry Pottertelevision series produced byHBOis one step closer to becoming a reality. According toDeadline, the highly-anticipated project will begin filming in the summer. That would put the show on track to debut on the screen at some point in 2026 or 2027. The announcement comes straight fromFrancesca Gardiner— the upcoming series' showrunner that was present at the Max Showcase that took place in London. Gardiner happily to let the world know when cameras would begin rolling for the nextHarry Potteradaptation, which is slated for Summer 2025....
