On July 30, 2025, avid fans were graced with a sneak peek at the upcoming episode ofFBI: InternationalSeason 4on YouTube. The official synopsis for the episode teases thatThe Fly Team is on the run in search of an American teenager, Leah Cardwell, who mysteriously disappears from a beach party. The teenager was on a senior trip to Portugal, and things get increasingly challenging whenthe missing teen’s parents have differing opinions. At the same time, asignificant chunk of the season has been centered around Wes, naturally, since this is his debut season. While it may take audiences a hot minute to warm up to a new central character,fans are already going gaga over his crisp action scenes in the upcoming episode.
Fans of the show are still getting over Scott Forrester’s (played by the charmingLuke Kleintank) departure.It will take a second for Wes to forge his pathas he sets the tone for the rest of the season. The promo also features Andre Rains, played byCarter Redwood, who stands out with his charm and isin his element in high-power FBI mode.
Jesse Lee Soffer Jumped From One Dick Wolf Universe to the Next
Jesse Lee Soffer is renowned for his role as Detective Halstead on ten seasons of NBC’sChicago P.D. He left the show in 2022 and now plays the titular role of Wesley “Wes” Mitchel onFBI: International. Theshow is the ninth in the Wolf/Universal universe— which also boastsChicago P.D.
Lee Soffer’s new gig also marks a reunion withChicago P.D.co-creatorMatt Olmstead, who also writes and executive producesFBI: International. In an interview withDeadline, Lee Soffer revealed how he enjoyed the action in the first episode. Lee Soffer also confessedhow he and Olmstead discussed his character at lengthwhile revealing that he loves the latter’s writing.
The actor also said thatshooting the first episode was fun and felt like a pilot. While talking aboutFBI: InternationalSeason 4, Episode 1, Lee Soffer dropped his two cents on his character while stating howthe first episode of the latest installment sets the tone for the rest of the seasonin the following words:
“It’s a great starting point for this new season of FBI: International and this new energy.”
