We’re just about a month away fromJames Gunn’sSupermanflying into theaters. Tickets are on sale and the merchandise has been racing off the shelves. This includedFunko Pops, action figures fromMcFarlane Toys, and statues fromSideshow Collectibles. NowSideshow has returned to the Fortress of Solitude with their latest Superman comic statue.

The DC Premium Format Figure from Sideshow seesSuperman taking offinto the air with a powerful wind gust underneath him. The piece stands at 34-inches tall and includes two facial portraits of the Man of Steel. There’s one which makes the Justice League member look a bit more seasoned with some gray hair and clearer line definition on his face. ThisSuperman also has a very classic lookwhere the suit is concerned. The red, blue, and yellow uniform is topped off with the character’s signature “S” chest emblem. The figure even has a long-flowing cape and massive muscular features for adistinct comic book look.

You’ll Believe a Man Can Fly

This reveal comes just afterSideshow unveiled their new Iron Studios comic statue of Supergirl and Streaky the Supercat. Superman’s cousin will have a major role to play in Gunn’s DCU with her own film,Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, premiering next year. She’ll be played byMilly Alcockafter she debuts inSuperman.David Corenswet’s versionof the Man of Steel also just got a new Sideshow statue of the DC hero with his best friend Krypto the Superdog. A ⅙ scale Hot Toys figure of this cinematic version of Superman will be on the way soon as well.

Superman is taking a page out of his longtime crime-fighting partner’s playbook with the character being everywhere.TV spots, posters, toys, and evenMilk Boneshave been the target of the Man of Tomorrow’s heat vision. This can easily be compared to the “Bat-Mania” marketing attached toTim Burton’sBatmanin 1989. This is DC’s second shot at a grand cinematic universe, and they’re not wasting a single moment this time around.
