Marvel’s two-partAvengers: Infinity Warimplies the biggest team up of superheroes we’ve ever seen in a live-action film. DuringWizard World Cleveland Comic-Con, directorsJoeandAnthony Russofacetiously teased the possibility of 67 characters, but in reality the MCU certainly seems to be setting up for something pretty big. Whatever the lineup ends up being, the Russos have seemingly confirmedChris Pratt’s Star-Lord will be one of them.

During an interview,Comicbook.comasked the duo what characters they’re looking forward to working with that they haven’t already. According to Anthony:

“The movies are intended to be a culmination of everything that’s happened before in the MCU so you don’t want to get into spoilers but I’m a big fan of whatJames Gunnhas done. [Joe Russo and I] are both big fans of what James Gunn has done. Star-Lord is a fantastic character and Chris Pratt is an awesome performer so you’d be very excited.”

The films leading up toInfinity War, including Gunn’sGuardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2, suggest Doctor Strange, Ant-Man, Black Panther, and Captain Marvel will also feature in some way, while rumors circling the Web suggestPart 2is reserved for the reentrance of the original lineup.
