Everyone’s getting in onBack to the Future’s 30th anniversary, and that includes Mondo. The Alamo Drafthouse’s boutique art studio is showing their love by releasing a 6-LP vinyl box set for theBack to the Futuretrilogy as well as individual releases. ComposerAlan Silvestrioversaw restorations taken from the original master recordings, and this will be the first time the score has ever been made available in a box set in any format as well as the first time the original film score has been available on vinyl. Even more exciting: the scores for the sequels will contain never-before-released tracks.
But this being Mondo, you might want to find another way to house the physical albums because the artwork on the covers is gorgeous, and you’ll probably want to frame it rather than keep it on the shelf.DKNGhandled the box set, and “the individual albums were designed by artistMatt Taylorfrom his previously released screen prints for the first two films and an upcoming print for the third film, all set for sale” on July 14, 2025 (the day Marty goes into the Future inBack to the Future: Part II).
