Thenew trailerforZack Snyder’s highly anticipatedBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justicejust debuted, and it was certainly something. We got plenty of new looks at Snyder’sMan of Steelfollow-up, giving us a better sense of what to expect from the Warner Bros. DC Cinematic Universe once Batman (portrayed byBen Affleck) is added to the equation. As the subtitle suggests, this is essentially a jumping off point for the rest of WB’s DC films, and withWonder Womannow in production andJustice League Part Oneset to begin filming next year, the wheels are (finally) turning on the studio’s answer to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Since this new trailer was so revealing (comics villain Doomsday looks to be the formidable foe that unites Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman), it felt prudent to pull some screengrabs so we can take a closer look at just what we saw in this new look atBatman v Superman.
