Flashback:Spider-Man 2(2004)
Here comesSpider-Man 2from directorSam Raimi. We follow up on the smash hit of 2002 with Raimi continuing his loving tribute to theLee/DitkoSpidey, withTobey Macquireplaying Peter Parker and the web-head himself.Kirsten Dunstreturns asMary Jane, and so doesJames Francoas Harry Osborn, and J.K. Simmons as J Jonah Jameson. The new villain for this second film is none other than Doctor Octopus, played with manic madness byAlfred Molina! This sequel did what most sequels can’t and that’s being a better movie than the first! Most sequels just mimic the story points of the first one, trying to replicate the magic, while the ones that usually are greater are the ones that take chances and expand the story, pushing the characters forward. That is this movie in spades.
