In today’sCollider Kidssegment, we’re thrilled to share an exclusive clip from PBS Kids' Emmy-winning animated showPeg and Catthat teases an upcoming episode of the math-powered, musical series! The Fred Rogers Company production heads to PBS on February 26th for “The Awards Show Problem” in which Peg and her intrepid best friend Cat head to Radio City Music Hall to host an awards show that can only last seven minutes. But that’s just the first part of three new episodes featuring six problem-solving stories that will be on display later this February; you can find out more details after the clip.

Jenny Slate to Voice Nanny in the ‘Muppet Babies’ Reboot
Jenny Slatewill voice the iconic role of Miss Nanny in Disney Junior’s reimaginedMuppet Babies, premiering this March on Disney Channel. Slate will bring to life the voice of the Muppet Babies' loving and playful caregiver, a character originally voiced by legendary actress, the lateBarbara Billingsley. Almost 30 years after the Muppet Babies first stole the hearts of kids and families around the world, the series chronicles the hilarious playroom antics of the young Kermit the Frog, Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Animal and brand-new Muppet Baby, Summer Penguin.
As in the original Emmy Award-winning series, Miss Nanny will only be visible from the torso down. Adding a new touch to the reimagined series, the pattern of Miss Nanny’s tights will change in each episode to reveal the story’s theme. As always, Miss Nanny gently and cheerfully encourages the Muppet Babies to use their imaginations to explore the farthest corners of the universe and to utilize their creative thinking to solve most any problem.

Nickelodeon Orders Season 2 of ‘Sunny Day’
AsTHRreports, Nickelodeon will be bringingSunny Dayback for 20 new episodes that will air this year. Nick’s kid-friendly animated series centers on 10-year-old Sunny, Friendly Falls’s best hairstylist, as she learns that problems can be solved by using determination and creativity. Along with her best friends Blair, Rox and her talking dog Doodle, “frenemy” Lacey will also join the salon team to manage Sunny’s new Pet Parlor. Sunny herself will be getting a brand-new styling vehicle, the Groom & Vroom, to be used exclusively for pets.
That vehicle is sure to be part of a new line of toys from Mattel Inc. that were announced along with the Season 2 order. Look for the toy line at Walmart in May, with other products arriving throughout the rest of the year. Nickelodeon’s Sunny Day Tour, an interactive experience that’s free to the public and will have plenty of products and activities on display. will also travel to cities across the U.S., starting at the Bentonville Film Festival in May, and stopping at select Walmart stores across the country this summer.
