Cory Hardricthas been working steadily in film and TV for over two decades. It was his work inAmerican Sniperthough that firmly caught the eye of the industry. It was his second film forClint Eastwoodand contributed to establishing him as an actor to watch.
Hardrict’s latest starring endeavor isThe Oath, a new series from Crackle. In it Hardrict plays Cole Hammond, the adopted brother ofRyan Kwanten’s Steve Hammond and the adopted son ofSean Bean’s Tom Hammond. Tom leads a gang of corrupt cops known as The Ravens who perform all kinds of criminal activities including robbing banks, bribery, money laundering and physical violence galore. Cole was raised by Tom and his wife Gwenn (Linda Purl) and is driven to protect them at all costs. He’s a smooth and composed guy on the surface, but underneath he has a powerful paranoia that sparks conflict for him throughout the series.

Crackle released all 10 episodes ofThe Oathon Thursday, March 8th. The series was created byJoe Halpin, a former Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy, and is based on his own real-life experiences as a member of a cop gang known as The Reapers. It’s produced byCurtis “50 Cent” Jacksonwho also producesPowerfor Starz. In addition to Hardrict, Bean and Kwanten, the show boasts a great ensemble withKatrina Law,J.J. Soria, andElisabeth Röhm.
