There have been so many iconic coming-of-age comedies over the years. However, if you grow up in the 2000s, it’s more likely than not you were obsessed withMean Girls. TheMark Watersfilm just celebrated its 20th anniversary last year and got a brand-new batch ofFunko Popsfor the fetching occasion. Now, just because that party’s over doesn’t mean Funko is ready to leave “The Plastics” behind, as they’ve just unveiled some veryquotableMean GirlsPops.
Both new editions to Funko’sMean Girlscollection are of everyone’s favorite high school villain,Regina George(Rachel McAdams). Each figure has the same sculpt, but says two different memorable lines from the film. The normal “Fetch” edition comes with the quote, “Stop trying to make fetch happen. It’s not going to happen.”, while the “Diamond Glitter” edition says, “Get in loser, we’re going shopping.” The latter of which will be anEntertainment Earth exclusive.

What’s ‘Mean Girls’ About?
Mean Girlsfollows new student Cady Heron (Lindsay Lohan) as she tries to fit in and find friends at her new high school. She quickly befriends outcasts Janis Ian (Lizzy Caplan) and Damian Leigh (Daniel Franzese), but soon gets the attention of the most popular clique in school, The Plastics. The group of Regina George, Karen Smith (Amanda Seyfried) and Gretchen Wieners (Lacey Chabert) want to make Cady their new member. That gives Damian and Janis the devilish idea for Cady to mess with that group. However, when Cady gets too involved with the pink-loving trio, all hell breaks loose in the halls of North Shore High. There are so many reasons whyMean Girlshave remained a fan favorite for the last two decades. The comedic talent involved, likeTiny FeyandLorne Michaels, is endless, the edgy humor is still jaw-dropping and the chemistry of its ensemble cast is next to none. The film became so popular that it would become a Broadway musical. This is a production that would later be adapted into its ownfeature film in 2024. Like the original, the musical version was critically well-received with a 69% critic rating onRotten Tomatoesand made over $100 million worldwide.
