Netflix and Sony Pictures Animation have debuted the first trailer forWish Dragon, which is debuting on the streaming service on June 11.
Wish Dragonfollows Din (voiced byJimmy Wong), who comes across Long (voiced byJohn Cho), a dragon who will grant Din three wishes.Wish Dragonis the first film written and directed byChris Appelhans, who previously worked as an illustrator onCoraline, an environment designer onFantastic Mr. Fox, and as a visual development artist forThe Princess and the Frog. In addition to being produced byAron Warner(Shrek), andChris Bremble,Wish Dragonis also produced byJackie Chan.

Wish Dragonmarks the second film from Sony Pictures Animation to come to Netflix this year, afterThe Mitchells vs. the Machineswas released last month. Also planned for this year, Sony Pictures Animation hasHotel Transylvania: Transformia, the fourth film in theAdam Sandler-voiced series, andVivo, starringLin-Manuel Miranda.
