Years ago, they moved out to Los Angeles to pursue their dreams of acting, but it appears those dreams are at an end, as Ryan is about to move to Edmonton to be with his girlfriend, leaving Daniel deeply hurt.
With one weekend to go before Ryan moves north,Daniel and Ryan set out to make one last movie — a movie about making a movie. Can their friendship survive the meta-madness of this movie-inside-a-movie (inside another movie)? What follows next is a riot of prosthetic muscle suits, backyard fencing duels, and meta-commentary extending towards the trailer itself. Extremely Unique Dynamicis directed and written by Xu, Leung, andKatherine Dudas; it is Dudas' second feature as director, after making her debut with 2022’sJuniper.
