Fans ofHelluva Bossgot the update they’ve been waiting for at San Diego Comic-Con 2025:Seasons 1 and 2 will debut on Prime Video this September, bringing with them an all-new episode titled “Mission: Zero.” While the show’s move to Prime Video was announced earlier this year, the SDCC panel finally locked down the streaming timeline, and teased just how far the team is ready to go in the new season.Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano, the creator of the Hellaverse (which includesHelluva BossandHazbin Hotel), made it clear that this new platform partnership isn’t about reining things in. In fact, it’s the opposite. Medrano and the cast confirmed that Season 3 will be fully uncensored, with the freedom to include jokes, language, and risqué material that were previously toned downor cut entirely due to YouTube’s content restrictions.

‘Helluva Boss’ Raunchiest Season Yet

Helluva Bosshas never shied away from adult humor, but Medrano teased thatSeason 3 will lean harder into its mature tone. Fans can expect bolder jokes, more explicit character banter, and scenarios that go beyond the boundaries of past seasons. It was also hinted during the panel that some of the show’s most memorable lines and gags were originally written to be far more unfiltered but had to be censored to stay monetized on YouTube. Those days are over with the series moving to its new home on Prime Video.

This creative shift doesn’t just mean more shock humor –it allows the writing team to explore the darker, more chaotic corners of Hell with full creative freedom. Moments between characters like Blitzø (Brandon Rogers), Stolas (Bryce Pinkham), and Loona (Erica Lindbeck), all of whom are already iconic for their biting humor and surprisingly heartfelt moments, can now play out without the interruptions of censorship.
