Tonight, Season 21 ofGrey’s Anatomywill air its final episode, and it looks like it will be a banger. In order to tease the season finale,ABCreleased a slate of images that hint at the events that will shake up Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital once again. Titled “How Do I Live,” the episode promises a high-stakes ending to the current season, and knowinghow merciless the series can be, it wouldn’t be a surprise if not everyone made it to the end.

The episode will have at least two turning points. The new interns will be excited to start their transition into the second-year residency, something that we’ve seen a couple of times inGrey’s Anatomy, but it never gets old. After all, the mistakes and recklessness of interns have generatedsome of the best arcsin the show’s entire history. Additionally, the series is bringing backthe kind of season finalethat puts everyone’s life at risk — this time, a hostage situation that started last week will finally come to an end.

With her daughter’s case gettingeven more complicatedthan when she came in, Jenna decides to threaten the life of Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and other doctors inside the OR. The police get involved, but will they be able to get to her in time? We will find out tonight.

Long-time fans ofGrey’s Anatomywill remember that Meredith has been trapped inside an OR with an explosive device all the way back in Season 2 and also had to deal with a shooter in Season 6, so she knows a thing or two aboutdealing with this kind of scenarioinside the hospital.
