James Gunnis getting ready to shareSupermanwith the world. The director of this summer’s highly-anticipated blockbuster has released new character posters to prepare audiences for what’s to come on the big screen. Superman (David Corenswet), Guy Gardner’s Green Lantern (Nathan Fillion), and Hakwgirl (Isabela Merced) are just some of the heroes who appear in these posters.Supermanwill mark the first theatrical release from the new DC Universe. There’s plenty of pressure on the movie’s shoulders, considering how the future of the franchise will be based on the box office results seen bySupermanlater this summer.
Supermanwill follow Clark Kent as he tries to become a better hero and an efficient journalist for the Daily Planet. It won’t be easy for the Last Son of Krypton to balance his two lives, with Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult) constantly attempting to ruin the hero’s reputation. Lois Lane (Rachel Brosnahan), another journalist from the Daily Planet, will be introduced as the protagonist’s love interest. James Gunn’s latest movie will depict a young man trying to find his place in the world. It remains to be seen if the people of Metropolis will be able to embrace Superman, or if Clark Kent is doomed to saving citizens that don’t see him as a hero.

This version of Superman will be introduced in a world that is already filled with plenty of heroes. Guy Gardner, a member of the Green Lantern Corps, will be a part of this adventure. Another popular character from the pages of DC Comics audiences will be able to see on the big screen is Mister Terrific (Edi Gathegi). The contrast between these individuals and the independent Superman will be made evident through the choices Clark makes over the course of his journey.
