Netflix has released the trailer for their upcoming docuseriesThe Innocent Man. Based on the 2006 non-fiction book byJohn Grisham, the six-part documentary series focuses on two murders in Ada, Oklahoma in the 1980s and the dubious means to which the convictions were obtained. It’s not hard to see the similarities between this and Netflix’s hit true crime seriesMaking a Murderer. They’re both about police misconduct but it’s against white defendants. There’s something a little gross with the underlying sentiment of both....

Sony has released a new trailer for Danny Boyle’sT2 Trainspotting. The sequel to Boyle’s 1996 breakout film,T2is based onIrvine Welsh‘s follow-up novelPornoandreunites Renton (Ewan McGregor), Spud (Ewen Bremner), Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller), and Begbie (Robert Carlyle), and while they’re 20 years old and clean from their heroin addictions, there are plenty of familiar perils that pop up when the old friends meet again. While this trailer tries to conjure up the feelings from the original, that’s not really what the sequel is....
