Although the Star Wars Celebration in London has been bringing to light several new and exciting projects from a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a second season of Disney+‘sObi-Wan Kenobidoesn’t look to be a part of theStar Warsfranchise’s future plans. Speaking toVariety, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy has stated that anObi-Wan KenobiSeason 2 is not in active development and remains unlikely. His film was not the first to make this link overtly via this filmmaking style, but the uniqueness of his presentation was so profound, the film so accomplished, it forever changed the lens by which I understood these stories, using elements of fiction to more deeply touch upon chilling truths....

Disney’s 62nd animated feature,Wish,has arrived in theaters to celebrate the company’s 100th anniversary. Set in the magical kingdom of Rosas, it follows a young girl named Asha (Ariana DeBose) who learns a dark secret about the king, Magnifico (Chris Pine). A new ad for the upcoming MCU installmentAnt-Man and the Wasphas the tough task of exciting viewers who are still recovering from Thanos' devastating reign inAvengers: Infinity War. Luckily for Scott Lang & Co., the events ofPeyton Reed’s super-sequel will actually take place before the events of that epic cinematic event, though we wouldn’t be surprised if the continuities came together by the movie’s end. This new ad isn’t giving any of that information away but it is reminding fans of the original movie just how silly this sub-franchise can be, which should come as a nice escape after some of the more serious moments in the MCU in recent adventures....
