The Roku Channel has just released a new trailer for their animated seriesDoomlands, a post-apocalyptic comedy series that combines bothMad Maxand workplace comedies in one irreverent, and often bloody package. The series is set to premiere later this week. Doomlandsis The Roku Channel’s first adult animated show, an essential, really, for any streaming service worth its weight. The series has had a long and winding road to Roku, having originally been picked up by the now defunct streaming service Quibi in 2020....

Happiest Season’s Riley (Aubrey Plaza) bumps into Abby (Kristen Stewart) and Harper (Mackenzie Davis) as they come out of a restaurant bathroom together. Now thatThe Boys’most hedonistic episodeHerogasmis out the cast and crew are spilling the beans on shooting the particular episode. The episode is pulled right out ofGarth EnnisandDarick Robertson’s comic book limited series by the same name. Though many plot points from the comic were left out to tailor the event for the ongoing series,Eric Kripkehas been commended for his approach in adaptingHerogasm. Jack Quaid,who plays Hughie Campbell on the show, was particularly excited to bring the particular storyline to the show, “I remember reading theHerogasmissue and just being really blown away by how absolutely depraved and insane it was and how hilarious it was at the same time,” he toldVarietyin a recent interview....

The end of the line is here for Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and company asGuardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3arrives. It’s set to bean emotional final rideas it sees Quill coming to terms with himself and rallying this iteration of the Guardians one final time all while delving intothe dark backstory of Rocket Raccoon(Bradley Cooper). As this will beJames Gunn’s final MCU outing, there’s been plenty of speculation that the Guardians won’t make it out of this installment unscathed....

It’s official:J.J. Abramsis setting up shop at WarnerMedia. Abrams kicked off a firestorm of suitors this year as his long-running production deal with Paramount Pictures was up for renegotiation, and every studio in town wanted to lock down a big agreement with theStar Wars: The Rise of Skywalkerfilmmaker and his Bad Robot production company.
