A few years ago, someone put together a trailer supercut that assembled all of the footage from Sony’sThe Amazing Spider-Maninto one trailer, proving that the studio had essentially already given away at least 75% of the film in its marketing. It was a fascinating experiment, and one that hopefully led studios to be more careful about what and how much they show in the trailers for their films, and now it’s being put to the test once more with Lucasfilm and Disney’sRogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Indeed, someone has grabbed the footage from all of theRogue Onetrailers thus far and put it together in chronological order—or at least the chronological order wethinkthe film will progress in. The result is another interesting supercut video, and one that could indeed provespoileryfor those wary of learning to much about the film. Consider this your officialpotential spoiler warningfor the video below.

It’ll be interesting to see just how much of this supercut is accurate, and if some of the footage we’ve seen in the released trailers ends up on the cutting room floor. The post-production difficulties ofRogue Onehave been well covered, with directorGareth Edwards’ film going back for extensive reshoots withMichael ClaytonfilmmakerTony Gilroycoming in to help as second unit director andan involved consultant on the film’s editing process. As a result, while this supercut does indeed put together all the footage we’ve seen thus far, it’s entirely possible that there’s a good chunk of the movie wehaven’tseen yet because it wasn’t shot until this summer.

Regardless, I’ll certainly be interested to hear the many thoughts and theories that spring up as a result of this video. Take at theGameSpotvideo below (viaio9) and sound off with your thoughts in the comments section.Rogue One: A Star Wars Storyopens in theaters on December 16th.
