Today,Warner Bros.announced that the movie has finally landed a home release date, and it’s sooner rather than later: the digital version of the movie will become available to stream as early as next week, and a 4K UHD Blu-ray edition with a hefty bonus material is hitting shelves in early July. On June 6, theRyan Coogler(Black Panther: Wakanda Forever) andMichael B. Jordan(Creed III) movie will become available to rent across all major streaming platforms, including Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Fandango at Home, and more. This means you will be able to catch up with it in time to join some of the hype.The vampire movieis still raking up impressive numbers at the box office — so far, it has managed to gross over $330 million worldwide, which makes itone of Warner Bros.' biggest hits ever.

The movie is also a hit among critics, with a near-perfect 97% score onRotten Tomatoes. The movie’s score also represents a rare occasion in whichboth critics and fans agree that a movie has superb quality, as the Popcornmeter is dialed all the way up to 96% among audiences. The story centers around twins Smoke and Stack (both played by B. Jordan), who return to their hometown in Mississippi to set up a business. Their lives change forever when they are attacked by supernatural creatures on opening night.
‘Sinners’ Bonus Features Announced
The 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD edition hits shelves on July 8. The 4K UHD and Blu-ray editions will come with an excellent set of bonus features. They include a half-hour featurette with director and writer Ryan Coogler breaking downthe process of creation ofSinnersand all of its aspects — from supernatural to musical. Michael B. Jordan also gets a featurette in which he guides audiences through the stages of becoming the twins he plays on screen, as well as which visual effects and camera tricks were used to have both characters side by side.
Three other aspects ofSinnersare explored in featurettes, including the vibrant score by Oscar-winning composerLudwig Göransson(Oppenheimer), a detailed contextualization of the Hoodoo spirituality explained by a professor, and the special effects and makeup team’s approach to the vampires' look. Last but not least, a good number of deleted scenes will provide a more immersive experience forSinners.
