There has been so muchSpider-Mannews lately.Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the nextTom Holland-led MCU film, just started filming this month. With that came the film’s first short teaser, set photos revealing Holland shooting an action sequence in his new suit, and the confirmation thatMark Ruffalo’s Hulk will be making an appearance. Now, with less than a year untilBrand New Dayswings into theaters.McFarlane Toys has unveiled their latestSpider-Mancomic figure.
A GameStop exclusive part ofMcFarlane’s 1:10th scale posedMarvel line, this figure is based on Todd McFarlane’s cover fromSpider-Man#6. This is specifically a “Line Art” version that makes the figure look like it has just been drawn. No color, just a pure comic book black-and-white illustration. Like all figures in this Web-Tastic series, Spider-Man will come with a backdrop depicting the rest of the pumpkin bomb-obsessed cover and a collectable art card. The figure will be $39.99 USD.

A ‘Brand New Day’ for ‘Spider-Man’
This is the latest in a long line of McFarlaneSpider-Manfigures. In the past, the popular toy company has done posed figures for villainsVenomand Carnage.Miles Morales’ Spider-Manhas also gotten into the action along withPeter Parker’s version of the famous Web-Head. Earlier this month,McFarlane released new comic figures honoringSpider-Man#1 (1990) 35th anniversary. This included a 1:6th figure and a 1:10th scale comic book artwork figure for the same issue. AnotherSpider-Versemember got some love this month asSpider-Gwen, aka Ghost-Spider, got her own 1:10th scale figure as well.
As forBrand New Day,the film will be a much more grounded adventurecompared to the first HollandMCUtrilogy. WhileNo Way Homewas a multiversal mission that united all three live-action Spider-Men together, Spider-Man is now on his own as he facesJon Bernthal’s Punisherand the Hulk – and at the same time, taking on actual villains like Scorpion. This stinging Spider-Man foe will once again be played byMichael Mando, who we last saw inSpider-Man: Homecoming.ZendayaandJacob Batalonwill also be returning for the sequel alongside franchise newcomerSadie Sink(Stranger Things).
