This past Saturday at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, Steve Weintraub interviewedSpider-Man: HomecomingstarZendayaabout the upcoming superhero film. We don’t know much about her character other than it’s a“key role”and that the character’s name is “Michelle”. We also learned from the footage that was shown in Hall H that she likes giving Peter Parker a hard time.
During her their conversation, Zendaya spoke about her excitement to be in the high school scenes, what she can tease about the film, and her shooting schedule. She also spoke about the attitude theSpider-Man: Homecomingcast brings to the MCU:
What’s really cool is that it’s so real and it’s so funny and it’s so honest and I think the funny comes out of the realness and awkward moments. And what’s even cooler is that I think everyone is very much like their character. The casting is crazy. I was just talking to someone and they were like, “Tell us about your cast,” and I said, “Look right over there. My cast members are running up and down the press line and they’re jumping. That’s us. We get to be the kids.”
