I don’t know how good the story behindWarcraftwill be, but from a visual standpoint, directorDuncan Joneslooks like he’s hit out of the park. Legendary and Universal have released a new featurette for the film that focuses on the production design, and the level of detail Jones and production designerGavin Bocquethave cooked up for these locations is absolutely astonishing. I also dig the amount of integration between the visual effects and the practical settings.Warcraftcontinues to be one of the riskiest, but also most exciting promises of the summer movie season, and I really hope it delivers.
Check out the featurette below.Warcraftopens June 10th and starsTravis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Rob Kazinsky, andDaniel Wu.
